Purpose:
If you'd like to be on the cutting edge of what the Lord Jesus is doing in his Church today, then you are in the right place. Other than evangelism, I can't imagine any work of God that is more important than this Grace Study.
It was not my idea to take up this work, it was the Lord's urging which led me down this path. I never would have chosen this topic. However, the Lord quickly emphasized to me, Isaiah 55:8-9, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." I had reluctantly become embroiled in a struggle to search out and prove or disprove some claims that some preachers were making concerning the abolishing of certain gifts of the Holy Spirit, which supposedly had happened because of the completion of Scripture- see Item#1a3 of the Apostleship Section. Shortly after that, I remember riding on my commuter train to work in 1995, doing my normal morning Bible study, and focusing on this gifts quandary. It was then that the Lord urged me through Psalm 68 to proclaim God's power to his people, the Church. That unction is still with me today. (And, it is beautiful, and as powerful as ever!) Psalm 68 explains why God gave gifts to the Church- that God might indwell the Church thereby, and to build up the Church (see Item#439 of the Prophecy Section). The passage of Psalm 68 that urged me in this regard is from verses 34&35, "Proclaim the power of God, ... the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people."
And so, while I love the glorious gospel of Christ, and I love to present that gospel to those who don't possess that glorious light, my principle work for the Lord right now is this study and presentation of the truth of the grace of God- which the Lord has shown me is much misunderstood, and sometimes neglected, or even twisted over the decades, within his Body the Church.
This is a rewarding and beautiful and glory-packed study providing a perspective of the Word and the Lord's nature and work which many are missing to their own loss. I hereby challenge any reader to participate in this study by taking in the study, particularly in any gift in which you are lead, and also submit examples by email or mail of how the Lord has interceded in your life.

- Proclaim the power of God to his people (Psalm 68:34 & 35). "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised him from the dead and seated Him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in this present age but also in the one to come.” (Ephesians 1:18-21).
- Establish sound teaching which will "prepare God's people for works of service", empowering them to "keep in step with the Spirit" (Ephesians 4:7, 11, &12; Galatians 5:25).
- Unify the Church by bringing to light the Lord's teaching regarding grace and the gifts, thus magnifying Christ's position as "Head over everything for the Church" (Ephesians 1:22, 4: 3-7, &15; Colossians 1:18).
